Chinese experts have detected a new variant of the MyDoom computer virus that disguises itself as an e-mail message and infects files in the system's hard disk, Xinhua reported.The virus is disguised as an e-mail "sending failed" message, experts at the national computer virus emergency response centre here said. The virus, called Worm MyDoom M, attaches to files and then transmits via e-mail to addresses found on the infected machines, according to the experts. The virus set up and modified certain system files and created a "back-door", a programme that sits on the machine and damages files it comes in contact with, the experts said..
